This workshop will enable participants to learn and practice the following:

1. Understand how the AIP informed perspective of EMDR guides history taking and

treatment planning.

2. Use three-pronged approach to treatment planning to achieve treatment outcomes.

3. Select and sequence the appropriate targets for effective symptom resolution.

4. Understand the three types of future template and when to use them.

5. Learn to treatment plan for the following:

a. Single Incident Trauma

b. Maladaptive scripts/schemas

c. Attachment/developmental trauma

d. Specific fears and phobias

e. Complex trauma

Practice these approaches in case study practicum groups.

About the facilitator.

Marianne Muphy is a Humanistic and Integrative psychotherapist who holds Masters in Clinical Psychotherapy. She is an accredited psychotherapy supervisor, a qualified mindfulness teacher and is trained in Internal Family Systems. Marianne was a leadership development trainer in the private sector for over fifteen years. She has been in private practice as a psychotherapist sine since 2010 and has been an EMDR Consultant since 2020.

She facilitates on EMDR trainings in the UK and Ireland and is chairperson of EMDR Ireland West.
